GUM® Go-Betweens® Proxabrush® Refills, Moderate Zoom

GUM® Proxabrush® Go-Betweens® Refills, Moderate

SKU# 612A
GUM® Proxabrush® Go-Betweens® handle and refills are comfortable, easy to use, specially designed handle and brush systems to remove dental plaque from hard-to-reach places between the teeth most commonly missed by toothbrushing alone. Ideal for between natural teeth and around crowns, bridges, dental implants, and orthodontic appliances.

GUM® Proxabrush® Go-Betweens® refills have a precision manufactured brush head with unique triangular bristles that are proven to remove more dental plaque than conventional round bristles.*

The soft nylon bristles have an antibacterial coating** to help keep the brush clean and hygienic between uses.

Four sizes of brush heads are available to fit from the tightest to widest of between-teeth spaces. Moderate brush heads are designed to clean the tooth and gum surfaces adjacent to the moderately wide spaces. If in doubt consult your dental hygienist for advice on which sizes are right for your mouth.

Clean between the teeth at least once per day to remove dental plaque from areas not reached by toothbrushing alone and where tooth decay and gum disease often occur!

**Bristles incorporate a patented antibacterial agent for continuous bristle protection during the recommended life of the brush. Bacterial growth that may affect the bristles is inhibited. The agent in the bristles does not protect against disease. As always, rinse your brush after use.

    4 Older was better

These proxy brushes do a good job. But, I miss the old conical ones which I suspect were a little longer too allowing them to work even better.

    5 Excellent for Gum Health

I have been using this product since the mid-1990's when it was recommended to me by my dentist. Since I've been using it, my gums have been in excellent shape at every dental exam. Even though I can no longer buy it at my local grocery store, I am really pleased that I can still get it directly from GUM.

    1 Why are snap-ons gone?

I used cilindrical snap-on brushes for many years, since they were introduced. I could not understand why GUM had pulled them off the market. After reading many of the reviews, I realized that such a move surely was a pure market decision without any concern for the loyal GUM users. The ones with the little wire to be bent and attached to the handle are not as "user friendly" as the snap-ons nor do they last as long. It´s a shame that GUM should "retire" an item that was excellent and now offers "new" ones that are more expensive and not as good as the "old" ones. Your executives should sense the market and return to the "old" winners. Well, maybe the company is now run by the CFO and not by market anlysts.
